RFID or Radio Frequency Identification is a method used to store or receive data remotely using devices called RFID tags or transponders. An RFID tag is a small object, such as an adhesive sticker that is attachable on to an item or product. RFID tags contain antennas to enable them to receive and respon to a query that is emitted by an RFID transceiver.
Generally, RFID consists of 2 main equipments, namely RFID Tag and RFID Reader. The RFID Tag has certain unique code/ID that once it is read by RFID Reader by radio wave then the ID Tag shall be sent by reader to PC/Server that has been previously installed by system application to manage the data to be a certain solution.
The interrogator, an antenna packaged with a transceiver and decoder, emits a signal activating the RFID tag so that it can read and write data onto it.
When an RFID tag passes through the electromagnetic zone, it detects the activation signal emitted by the reader. Reader will decode the data on the tag and this data will be processed by computer.
The use of RFID system is to transmit data from portable devices, called tags, then read by the RFID reader and processed by computer application that need it. Data is transmitted and delivered earlier may contain various information, such as ID, location information or other information such as price, color, date of purchase, etc
What are the advantages of using RFID?
Human error minimization
Accurate data information provision
Cost saving and payment
Data controlling easiness
Inventory Tracking and Asset Management System
How confident are you with the security system in your office to keep your assets safe?
Ever wonder how to manage and monitor all assets and inventories in your premises easily?
This solution suits application ranging from office asset management, site asset management, inventory and consumables tracking, maintenance and warranty monitoring and many others.
Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, each asset can be identified and monitored accurately. Manual asset checking and inspection using plain paper is history.
Asset Tagging is a solution to efficient and effective improvement of asset security and to prevent loss of corporate assets in the office. Solutions Asset Tagging can also assist you in managing the assets.
We provide solutions for company asset management by benefiting the design of integrated RFID technology solution to improve efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise management performance and to avoid the danger of losing asset
By benefiting the RFID technology, asset information (eg. Property, location, and asset) navigation and definition have turned to be huge easiness. It minimizes the required data entry to classify asset into system defined asset class. Besides, it records the maintenance date, warranty expiration, service due date and other important remarks. Such information is active and traceable and could be properly managed as required.
Inventory and asset are closely linked due to its special characteristics, such as inventory convertibility into asset that is easily traced by asset location and inventory location. Each asset is unique and tagged with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags for quick inspection and stock taking. Asset location and movement yet also closely tracked. Unlimited assets and locations can be created in the system for monitoring.
With RFID, daily inspection report and monthly summary report can be generated on real-time basis. Integrated with RFID scanner, inspection can be carried out multiple times a day and data can be uploaded for report generation and data backup. Each asset is identified uniquely and as accurate as possible to the date and time of identification execution. Inspection is linked to user for audit and accountability purposes. Besides, easy asset transfer functionality exists for the purpose of asset relocation into different locations.
This system is designed as modular system that is able to be integrated with many different types of RFID readers as well as back-end enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Navision, etc. It covers inventory module, asset tracking module, session check, flexible reports, maintenance preview screen, and others.
